Bottom Line
A solid daily skincare essential that delivers on pore care without breaking the bank.
I’ll be honest, I was skeptical about these pads when I first ordered them. At under fifteen bucks, I figured they’d be just another mediocre toner pad that would sit in my bathroom drawer. But after using the Medicube Zero Pore Pads for about three weeks now, I’m actually impressed enough to write this review.
What I like about it
The dual-textured design is actually brilliant. One side has these tiny bumps that gently exfoliate without feeling scratchy, and the other side is smooth for a final sweep. I use the textured side first on my nose and chin where my pores are most visible, then flip it over for the rest of my face. The pads are generously soaked too—not dripping wet, but definitely saturated enough that I don’t feel like I’m rubbing a dry cloth on my face.
What really won me over is that these don’t sting or burn like some other exfoliating pads I’ve tried. They have a slight cooling sensation that feels refreshing, especially in the morning. After about a week of daily use, I noticed my skin texture felt smoother and my pores looked less obvious in my T-zone. They’re also huge—like, bigger than my palm—so you get good coverage without needing to use multiple pads per application.
✅ The good stuff
- Dual-textured pads make exfoliating and toning easy in one step
- Large pad size means you can cover your whole face comfortably
- Noticeably improves skin texture and minimizes pore appearance within a week
- Doesn’t irritate sensitive skin or cause stinging
- The container keeps pads moist and fresh with a secure lid
❌ Worth knowing
- Instructions are mostly in Korean with minimal English translation
- The outer shipping box arrived dented (though the product container was fine)
- Strong herbal scent that might bother scent-sensitive people
My honest take
These pads have become part of my morning routine, and I genuinely look forward to using them. They’re convenient for lazy days when I don’t want a ten-step routine—just grab a pad, swipe, and you’re done with toning and gentle exfoliation. The container has a little plastic tweezer attached to the lid which is sanitary, though I usually just wash my hands and grab one with my fingers.
The main downside is that the instructions are pretty vague if you don’t read Korean. I had to google how often to use them and whether they should be rinsed off (they shouldn’t, by the way—just let them absorb). Also, while the product itself is well-packaged in a sturdy plastic container, the cardboard box it shipped in was pretty beat up. Not a dealbreaker since the pads themselves were perfectly fine. For the price point, this is honestly one of the better skincare products I’ve tried recently, and I’ll probably repurchase when I run out.
Want an easy, no-fuss way to improve skin texture and minimize pores without adding multiple steps to your routine. These are perfect for beginners getting into K-beauty or anyone who wants effective pore care on a budget. They’re also great for oily or combination skin types struggling with enlarged pores.
Skip it if you…
You’re very sensitive to fragrances (these have a noticeable herbal smell) or if you prefer products with detailed English instructions and ingredient explanations right on the package.
